I endorse the writer`s view that listening is the main contributing factor that makes any language, just any langue to learn easily. You have to have a regular listening or to be in the company of those whose language you wish to learn. Just reading or attending classes ( spoken English classes ) does not make the things to attain what we really want) At the same time, we should not hesitate to admit that while learning any language, imperatively , we do need to be well- at home - in it`s grammar , in view of the fact that grammar,if we have learnt well, is the BACK BONE that helps- speaking the language correctly.
To have an adequate stock of vocabulary is also a must factor. Speaking fluently, means, what I feel is - that you have a power of expressing yourself in a way that listeners do get your point or explanation quite easily and effectively. There are so many other things that make one to learn the language well and to be able to speak fluently. Like reading news papers, magazines regularly ,taking a deep sense out of it as to how construction of sentences is made, the appropriate vocabulary etc. Any way it`s a very interesting subject-how to attain fluency not just in English but in any language and requires lot of discussions and putting views based on different experiences.
However, thanks to the worthy writer in making the readers understand - English is of course not our mother tongue but it`s not that intricate. We can learn it well, speak it well indeed fluently too.
Parshuram Gautampurkar,Kota -RajasthanP.Gautampukar,Kotanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4531765274219955373.post-64948398480784060792014-07-02T11:37:08.479+05:302014-07-02T11:37:08.479+05:30yes, we should have listening class,if learners of...yes, we should have listening class,if learners of English listen correct English,They will learn correct English, English podcasts can be immense help For listening skills.ashok pandyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10793984887506531770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4531765274219955373.post-70852500199833375532011-01-04T20:47:03.529+05:302011-01-04T20:47:03.529+05:30One thing I want to reiterate from this post is th...One thing I want to reiterate from this post is that without jumping into the water you want be able to learn how to swim , its the same for any language may it be English or any, unless one don't jump into the language and unless there is necessity of the usage of the language one can't learn English.
Once you fall into a situation where no one understand your language , its becomes die hard situation for you to learn their language and that will make you master of the language and not the classes or the books can make you master.
It starts with listening as mentioned here,if you listen what other speaks and see their gestures, face , pauses and hand movements will make you undersdtand that what they are trying to tell you and that way you goes on to learn and use same words , lines and phrases.

So Sachin this one is good post for leaners.Govind Kanarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11767884645814280072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4531765274219955373.post-50704266585095889232011-01-04T20:20:30.620+05:302011-01-04T20:20:30.620+05:30Thanks a lot Sir this new perspective. 'Listening English' classes for mastering the language is something - as any good learner would agree - that was 'oft thought but never so well expressed'.Manoj Chhayanoreply@blogger.com
